Repeated violation of non-compete lands man in jail

A Texas man who claims he loves to dance and claims dance is in his soul was jailed by a judge in Texas for repeatedly violating a non-compete agreement that prohibited him from operating a business within a defined geographical distance from his former employer. (To read the article click here.) Here, not only did this individual violate the original non-compete, but he also violated a court order issued as a result of enforcement of the non-compete. While dancing may be in this individual’s soul, my recommendation is that he practice his passion in a different geographical area.
